Showing Gratitude: How to Express Gratitude and Thanks to Others?

How to show gratitude? American dream, flaws and imperfections are truly a gift, Fine! Thank you

How to Express Gratitude and Thanks to Others?

There is so much coming to you in this life. Of course you want to be the best. You want to be successful in being a mother, wife or daughter, whatever all we are called to do. We are chasing after the American dream that no one can live up to without losing something that really matters to us. There are some sacrifices that we often end up making without fully realizing what damage it will bring us!

Sometimes just look around and be thankful for what you have and even thankful for what you do not have! There are some couples who wish to be single. After listening to all the stories, this is not what it is cracked up to be. I am grateful that it is just me and my girls. Would I be completely ready for marriage, ups and downs, financial struggle for who will earn more?

(1) The need to show gratitude

The choice of who pays what bill! I realize that I am grateful, I am going to be patient and wait on the Lord! Loneliness, the need to feel loved, feel valued, and adored by someone who can really see your true beauty, inside and out. Someone who will love you with all your flaws and imperfections that are truly a gift that we sometimes overlook. Sometimes the family is our worst critic and they know us better than anyone! It goes without saying that they love us unconditionally whether we realize it or not.

My father has always been my dad, whether he says I love you or not, I know he loves me because when he is not there, I can see him when I am in his presence striving to see me through the remaining little sight. My mother will always be my mom, strong as a bull but soft as a flower needing that hug! My brother, even though he is older, will always want to be a child, and to hear my voice!

My children will always need me, and I am grateful that I have so much love to give and so much work to do. Our job is never finished. I am thankful for my family even though apart from so many times, the silence of the closeness makes me know that they are grateful to be in my presence! I am grateful because sometimes life storms can take us away from more important things like a simple phone call saying I love you!

(2) What can you do to express gratitude to others?

Is there a family member you have not spoken to, maybe you are busy, or put off visiting, or you have been going through your own trials and tribulations that you have just forgotten to tell God, Thank you Lord! It is not about me! What can I do for others? Every morning I wake up, I say Thank you because we do not know when it will be our last. Gratitude is often overlooked, but much is needed! It all starts like this if somebody asks you how are you! ''Say fine! Thank you for having asked! Someone opens the door for you, say Thank you! A nice word or a warm smile goes a long way. Remember we all need Gratitude!
